Tom Pell, Cambridge United Academy Manager said:

I am delighted that we as an Academy are in a position to announce BSCFC as a partner club. When selecting our Partner Clubs, BSCFC was right at the top of our list. The relationship we have formed with them over the last few years has been great. From seeing a 17 year old Ben Worman scoring for their 1st team whilst on loan, to offering an Academy contract to a BSFC U8 player has been equally rewarding.

They are a really well organised club who want to offer opportunities to young people in the area and we as an Academy feel like their values are very much aligned to our own.

We look forward to working collaboratively with BSCFC moving forwards for the benefit of both clubs. We are very grateful to Tim Moylette, BSCFC Head Coach and Nik Barnes, Partner Club Liaison, for their support and we hope we can offer their Club what they need in return.

Grant Hegley, BSCFC Chairman said:

BSCFC, since it was established in 2005, have been hugely successful in coaching and developing both its Girls and Boys players at all levels, some of whom go on to play football at the highest stage.

To continue with the Clubs development plans to become one of the best Community Football Clubs both on and off the field in the UK, I am delighted that BSCFC have been selected to become a Partner Club with Cambridge United FC.

BSCFC have, over the last few years, developed a close relationship with Cambridge United and this Partner Agreement will cement this association and will offer development opportunities to some of our Players within their well organised Academy.

In addition, the regular Continued Professional Development events that will be run by Cambridge United FC and offered to our Managers and Coaches will improve the match day experience to ALL of our nearly 1000 players who play at every level.

BSCFC look forward to enjoying being a Partner Club with Cambridge United FC.
