Dear All

 

Further to my email informing you of the sad passing of Ray, I write to advise that Ray’s Funeral Service and Burial will take place at 11:00 on Monday 2 August.

 

The Church is still operating at a significantly reduced capacity with space extremely limited, so Ray’s Family hope you will understand the full details of the service cannot be shared more widely.

 

Friends will have the opportunity to show their respects to Ray, as the funeral cortege will pass through Birchwood High School’s car park (CM23 5BD) in Bishops Stortford, between 9.30 and 10.00.

 

Given Ray’s lifelong support of Manchester United, the family have asked that people wear one red item to brighten things up a bit (they do realise how difficult this may be for some!!).

 

Flowers and Donations – Nick and Bert (Ray’s 2 Sons) would like to keep flowers to family only. They have asked that if you wish, you kindly make a donation to one of their selected charities. Whilst writing BSCFC would like to thank all those that have taken the time to express and pass on their heartfelt condolences on the tragic loss of Ray, he will live long in all of our memories.
